Ingredients
8 ounces brewed coffee, or 1-2 shots of espresso
½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
3 tablespoons canned pumpkin or homemade pumpkin puree
½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 teaspoons maple syrup, or sweetener of choice
Sprinkle of cinnamon
Directions:
In a small saucepan, whisk together the almond milk and pumpkin puree on the stovetop over medium heat until warm, not boiling.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, and maple syrup
Use a handheld frother to froth the milk mixture until foamy
Pour the hot coffee into a large mug. Slowly pour the foamy milk mixture over the top
Ways to Serve:
Once ready, sprinkle a dash of cinnamon over the milk froth and enjoy hot! Allow the milk mixture to cool, then, add to chilled coffee for an iced latte experience.
